Facilitation training – 31st of January 2026 in Wageningen

"All living is meeting" - Martin Buber

Saturday 31st of January 2026 in Wageningen

In the current climate of social tension and polarisation, how do we bring diverse groups together in conversation and collaboration?

How can we meaningfully hold space to work with real differences and disagreements?

How can we sensitively gather small and large groups and foster deep listening and understanding?

This one-day workshop will explore these questions and offer tools for facilitation. The experience is suitable for individuals or organisations who want to improve the way they work with groups, as well as those new to facilitation. Filled with a rich selection of methods, approaches and exercises, the day will offer an insider look into some of the facilitation tools used for Spiritual Ecology & St Ethelburga’s transformational programmes. It will be highly experiential, with an opportunity to engage with practical techniques that help to foster participative and productive group conversations.

Workshop Elements will include:

  • Designing facilitation spaces for engaged participation
  • Qualities of an authentic facilitator
  • Navigating common facilitation challenges
  • Responding to difference, disagreement and tension within groups or circles from a systemic point of view
  • Demonstration of an active listening process
  • Opportunities for practice and implementation
  • Core values for inclusive conversations

Join us for an in person workshop on facilitation. This interactive full day session will include practical tools, pair work, embodied practice, role-play and group explorations and exchanges to foster participative and productive group processes.

Community of practice

Spiritual Ecology Practice Sessions online

With these practice sessions we're co-creating a human space for resonant connection; to orient ourselves towards reciprocity and mutual thriving, to internalize the reality of our interdependence and to discover and strengthen our alignment with our purpose in life.
How? By offering meditation, mindful inquiry and sacred heart circle sharings that enables us to explore, heal and reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the web of life. We explore questions that are meaningful to us in pairs (in break-out rooms) and the group-as-a-whole.

This online group is open to everyone who wants to be part of our community of practice in Spiritual Ecology. Preferably you have followed a Spiritual Ecology training, workshop or retreat with us the last few years.
